Mopane Pomegranate

	Mopaniegranaat Mopane pomegranate Rhigozum zambesiacum Near Punda Maria - Kruger National Park

Rhigozum zambesiacum - Tree of up to 4 m, found in woodl;and, thicket and rocky hillsides in northeastern South Africa. Flowers in Sept.-Nov., about 3.5 cm. Branches are spinetipped and branch off at right angles. Small leaves (0.5 cm) in 2-4 pairs, plus a terminal one.
