Not a streptocarpus, but what is it ?

When in game parks, such as in Ithala, one is not allowed to alight from the car. That makes it difficult if not impossible to observe relevant details of plants, such as pods and the like. Therefore I could only photograph this plant from the car window. I suspected this was a Sterptocarpus, manly from the foliage, although the flowers do not seem that typical for this species. I asked for help from members of the American Gloxinia and Gesneriad Society, and they were ever so helpful. Through the help of Judy Becker and Dale Martens I received the expert opinion of Jaco Truter (South Africa):

"No, this is not a Streptocarpus species at all, there are only two species in the Itala Nature Reserve, one of which is the new S. kuhnhardtii. I would hazard a guess, that this plant belongs to the Scrophulaceae family."
